    I have the current version of CPTUI and I must say it is WONDERFUL!!!!!!

    The problem I am experiencing is that I am trying to add “Notifications” to my website using either the “Post Notif” plugin or the “Postmatic” plugin. Both of those put a special section into the backend editor. I suspect that’s where your “Custom Supports” textbox comes into play, but I have no clue as to what should go in there. I’ve contacted the “Post Notif” developer but he doesn’t have experience with Custom Post Types. I’m waiting to hear back from Postmatic, but I thought you might be able to better tell me what to ask the other 2 plugin developers. Or you might even know the answer.

    Thanks … Jeff

    Not sure how one would go about handling either of those here.

    The “custom supports” spot is more for cases like this from the Yet Another Related Posts Plugin:

    Does YARPP support custom post types?

    Yes. To make YARPP support your custom post type, the attribute yarpp_support must be set to true on the custom post type when it is registered. It will then be available on options on the YARPP settings page.

    'yarpp_support' => true

    If you would like to programmatically control which post types are considered in an automatically-displayed related posts display, use the yarpp_map_post_types filter.

    Hey Jeff,

    I’m not 100% sure what you are trying to do (and I haven’t hit the support queue yet today so I haven’t read your email yet) but if what you are getting at is sending custom post type content via Posmatic: hang tight a month or so. It’s in Postmatic 2.
