Hello! I have a weird issue on my site.

I have created galleries, and I have created albums with the album extension, which are displayed on a page using the shortcodes.

I have installed the Foobox free extension, which works, but when I open a picture, the big image appears inside Foobox, but if I close it, the default lightbox-like container which apparently was opened at the same time foobox was, does not close. Or when I go to the next-previous image, the default container remains at the background with the original picture still open. Here are some screenshots:

I open the picture, everything looks ok: http://prntscr.com/a2101f
When I go to the next image, which is smaller in dimensions, you can clearly see in the backrgound the first picture, in the default container: http://prntscr.com/a211ob
If I close the picture with the church, the “original” picture remains open in the default container: http://prntscr.com/a212ha

Here is the link for the gallery, so you can test it too:

    Thank you!

  • I’m just a beginner with this stuff, but it looks to me like you have two different light box scripts running. Check your plugins and see if there are two light box scrips running also if you only find the Foo one maybe the theme your using has one built in to it. I have seen that in the past.

Just a thought and maybe something to check.

    Good Luck
    Have a great day

nemo656 is correct, there is another lightbox running on your site. It’s called Fancybox.

This is likely coming from a plugin or it’s built into your theme.

Thank you very much for your insight, you were right, there was the Fancybox for WordPress plugin activated on the site which I completely forgot about.

    Thank you again!

    With best regards,
    Balint
