    Hi There,

I’m using this plugin on many sites I’m developing and I really love this. But now on one of my project, I noticed that this lack some of the icons from new Font Awesome library, for example- ‘fa-gear’

Haven’t checked many of them, but some of them may be missing too. Can you please check and let me know if there’s any update or something which can show all the icons in the ACF select box.?

    Thanks

It doesn’t look like ‘gear’ is an icon in Font Awesome. It is probably just an alias for the fa-cog icon. http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/cog/

We just updated the plugin but we noticed that fa-tripadvisor is not part of the plugin. Was wondering if there was a reason why it was not part of the most recent version? or if you could let us know what version of Font Awesome is being used?

I am seeing that icon available: https://cloudup.com/coTG-86iEgl

This plugin uses the Better Font Awesome library to automatically load the latest version of font awesome. Perhaps there was a problem communicated with the API that resulted in your version falling back to the bundled (and older) version of font awesome that ships with the plugin?

We’re having this problem too. I confirmed that the most current version of FontAwesome is being loaded on the admin editing screen. And the tripadvisor font is indeed in that stylesheet, but this icon is not an option to select for the field. Just in case, I also updated all the fonts and stylesheets in the fallback folder to the most recent version. That still didn’t fix the issue.

Can you think of anything else that could be causing tripadvisor to not show up? We are on multisite. I tried installing it on a single site on a different server, and it worked. Perhaps a multisite compatibility issue?

Found a weird solution. I duplicated the icon field, and Tripadvisor will show up in the duplicated field. It won’t show up in the original field, even though they’re the same. Weird. Perhaps the original field was corrupted somehow.
