Plugin conflict with Ultimate Social Deux

    Hi guys,

    I recently discovered that there is a plugin conflict with CSS & Javascript Toolbox PLUS and Ultimate Social Deux: http://codecanyon.net/item/ultimate-social-deux/6556073

    Damian, I guess I wrote you an e-mail about that a couple of months ago (we wrote a couple of e-mails back and forth, but at some point I forgot to follow up): The theme settings page of CJT PLUS (formerly CJTe Developer) just went blank.

    Back then, I didn’t know what caused the issue, now I figured out that it must be Ultimate Social Deux, because whenever I deactivate it CJT PLUS starts working again.

    PS: A word about your abandoning CJTe Developer and introducing CJT PLUS: I didn’t like having to pay for CJT PLUS again, since I already bought CJTe Developer. But I really love your plugin and wanted to support you, so I paid for it anyway. However, a discount or something the like for existing customers would have been nice…

    Hi Finn,

    Thanks so much for your comments and I really appreciate your support – especially financially, and you are right in saying what you said about the discount. Thanks for being upfront and honest.

    Now regarding this error. I am currently prioritising issues and hope to start ironing out these errors, bugs, and incompatibilities once and for all. Sometimes it is difficult to make CJT compatible with all plugins because some plugins (unlike ours … Lol) are poorly written. Some plugins utilise resources when they shouldn’t and that usually causes problems with CJT.
    An answer to this would be to start focusing on better error handling and better notifications for users. This will be in the works soon.

    I hope to make some good progress on CJT Free and CJT PLUS in the near future. You will start to see some changes in the website too, including a news section that I want to update more often.
