When we first built Media Library Plus we viewed it as an extension of our WordPress Gallery plugin MaxGalleria. And so we put in descriptions of MaxGalleria and all of the addons that you could use with it.
Also, we have a separate version of MLP that you can download with MG. It’s essentially the same product with some additional hooks for MG. Many of the folks who started with MLP end up installing and using MG. Which is great.
What we, mostly Alan to be honest, saw when we made MLP was a need for a better and more efficient way to manage images and videos in tandem with the WordPress media library. And for the most part people really like what we have built.
We have had several requests to tone down our descriptions of what you can do with MaxGalleria with MLP. Since we were busy it was not really a focus. But looking back we should have done this much earlier. Our descriptions are too much and are distracting. So we’ve taken them all out. They are gone.
We agree with you that this will make a much superior experience using MLP. Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate it.
