• hey there,

my twenty eleven theme does not have any plugin options, i cannot even search, nothing happens when I click on it.

And when i go to download latest version, though I just changed my theme just a few days ago, it just pops up as a folder with nothing i can click on to actually upload….
I also cannot find the version I am using on my dashboard. it seems as though it is hard to find, and not in the usual places people have suggested on other forums i.e it is not on my dashboard anywhere.

1.so how do i download latest version
2.how to i enable plugin’s in twenty eleven theme (a friend has the same these and has plugin available to her)

feeling as if it is hard to navigate the way through the settings in wordpress. it does not seem to be user friendly for those who are not so website savvy….

can any one help with figuring this out?

CANNOT find version anywhere on my site?

i found this in a diff forum but does not apply to me:
“Later versions of wordpress display the version prominently in the admin area. You would need to be blind to miss it.

Older versions of wordpress display the version in the footer, on all admin pages.”

And i found this: but do not have a “right now’ widget in my dashboard

“if your current version of WordPress isn’t on display at the bottom right corner of the screen while logged into your dashboard, take a look in the “Right Now” widget in the dashboard and it should say “You are using WordPress 3.x.x”. Or, you might try yoursite.com/readme.html

NONE of the above tips show me what version I have.
    My page is: http://www.satyaliving.com

would LOVE some help to update my WP,
    and enable plug-ins

    ThaNK YOU!

Did you set the site up yourself?
Did you have plugin access before, or you’ve never had it?

youe site is with WordPress.com – please ask at http://forums.wordpress.com/

.com is different from .org which is supported here – http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
