Events cut off too soon

Hello! I have an interesting problem with wp events manager (free). I want events that are going on today to show up, but wp events removes them from the events listing page when the day comes. I have tried all of the settings in listing it (current month + next month, etc.) to no avail, but here are the steps involved in my problem:

1. I create an event for today (feb 6 2014)
2. I go to my events listing page and see it is not showing up even if I set the time for 15 minutes in the future, or select “show events today” as one of the options settings, etc.,

Again, I just need events that are still happening today to persist until the day of the event has actually ended.
