• I love the look of the website using this theme and the graphic is centered but now when we go on the mobile site (on our phones) the site only takes up half the screen which makes it super tiny. Is there I can do about this?

  • The problem is that you have a Google banner ad in the first footer widget, and that banner ad has a fixed width of 782px, which keeps the page width wider than the rest of the page. You can also see this on your desktop’s browser. Disable any ad blocking plugins that you might have and then make your desktop browser about the same width as a cell phone. You’ll notice that the horizontal scroll bar becomes visible because the banner ad keeps the rest of the page wide. When you scroll the page to the right, you’ll see the banner ad extends all the way across, even though the rest of the page correctly resizes to the width of the browser.

If you remove the ad, the problem should go away, i.e., the site should look normal on a cell phone or other mobile device. See this article on how to create a responsive ad unit.

You can also see this on your cell phone. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you’ll see the banner ad stretching al the way across.
