    Hi,
that plugin only sends content (channel). In order to receive content from Telegram (bot) you can use WebHooks (SSL) or getUpdates (no SSL).

Webhooks are real-time. GetUpdates works with a “continue loop” to check new updates.

This plugin only supports webhooks to provide an excellent service. If you don’t have SSL you can register for free on our website or get a free SSL like CloudFlare.

Thanks Marco, and about the RSS, you can not make it built in method?

Well, in this case Zapier gives you more flexibility. I also plan to make this plugin compatible with ifttt.com that is free. Both of them allows you to create the template you like (title, date, link, content, custom fields,…).

However, a feature to send a post to Telegram when you publish it would be appreciated, doesn’t?

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m looking for. But I was curious if it’s possible to make this feature without any 3rd party apps.

If not possible, it’s still great plugin 😉

I think to add a box in the publish page where you’ll put text that will be sent when you publish.

Consider deploying the feature in plugin options instead. Because some people like me use applications like “Open Live Writer” to publish posts and there wouldn’t be any box there.

    Keep up the good work.

btw, I’m using your Zappier app atm to do the updates in channel. Great job there too.
