Yes, you can.
Search as example this value wp-content/uploads/Waitresses/
and replace it with wp-content/uploads/waitresses/
.
Create a backup before you start. Use also the dry mode to see the result, if you run it live.
Hi thanks for getting back to me. The results of the dry run were
Dry run is selected. No changes were made to the database and no SQL file was written .
59 tables were processed.173 cells need to be updated.
So if i un-tick dry run then it will change everything for me?
Made a backup of database which i have downloaded.
Many thanks
Danny Kirk
Also do i use save changes to database?
I have tried changing the files its found them and then i changed them with save file to database. When i goto the media url and check its still the same?
I think you will only replace it for the content images, right? A point, that you use search/replace only for the table _posts
. If not, then about all tables and the result from the dry run should help you to understand, what you will change.
The save run is, that you save the changes directly to the current database, not only to the export file. You save up the import.
Hi so an update it changed the urls but it broke the images on my home page. I changed the w to a W and it worked again.
Not sure what i am doing wrong
Thanks
Danny
