• Hi There,

I have installed the Simple Membership plugin along with the Add-on to redirect to a specific page once a user is logged in. I also had the Add-on plugin activated for importing existing users.

I am adding users manually to test and have restricted content on a page with the test users having access-level to the restricted page.

If I login while I am signed into WP admin I can view the restricted page but if I open an incognito tab and login it does not display the page ( I imported my details with the Add-on ) – It allows me to login and when I select the page that has restricted content it gives me a message saying I need to be logged in to view the content.

I have tried the above with two users with different email addresses, clearing browser cache and it keeps saying I have to be logged in to view the content.

Do you have any idea what could be causing the problem?

    Thanks in advance
    Jack

Hi Jack, I am not sure if what you are trying to do is view the protected content as an Admin. If this is what you are trying to do then please check the following documentation. If this is not what you are trying to do can you please provide a bit more information.

    Thank you

Thanks so much for the feedback.

I am hosting content on a page and restricting the access prompting users to login to view the page but when testing the login function I was able to login initially but once I navigate to the page with restricted access it loads the same message saying I need to be logged in to access the content.

So as test user with permissions set I kept getting a message saying I had to login to view content even though I had logged in already.

    Hope that helps,

    Thanks again for the assistance

Hi, have you also protected the categories?

No, I didn’t protect any of the categories.
I left them as they were.

Can you also protect your categories and afterwards report back.

    Thank you
