I’m glad to hear it!
Out of curiosity, were the “configuration analysis” and “plugins/themes” tabs helpful for you? If you are getting hacked multiple times, chances are there is an open vulnerability somewhere on your server; those two tabs might help you locate weak settings or plugins.

Yep there is a wide open back door – he installs new bombs, while I am deleting the last ones, but my skill level won’t let me use your suggestions.
Hi Rhys,
I understand, some of the advice in those pages is a bit technical. There are two main things you should do:
- The most important thing to do is make sure every plugin and theme you are using is up-to-date. Most of the time, a hack is only possible because of a vulnerable theme or plugin. These vulnerabilities are usually fixed by the authors, but to benefit, you need to update. You can see what all needs updating by clicking Dashboard > Updates.
- It is also important not to leave unnecessary files on your server. If you have any inactive themes or plugins, delete them.

Sorry – I should have said that the plugins/themes” tabs were helpful to reassure me that all things are up to date – Rhys
