    Hi,

The plugins works fine for some subscribers, but for for some others there’s a pop-up that says “there was a problem with the request” (and they can’t subscribe, and of course no trace of them in the database).

Any idea of what causes this ? I bet I’m missing some parameter, but I can’t figure out which one…

    Thx in adavnce !

    Hi,

Are you using latest version of Email Subscribers i.e. v3.0.1?
Can you please de-activate and then re-activate plugin once and then have a check?

Also, when you say “I bet I’m missing some parameter”, have you modified plugin code due to which you are suspecting this?

    Hi,

Yes, I’m using the lateste version. I didn’t edit any part of the plugin code.

Will I lose all subscribers if I deactivate/reactivate the plugin? (100+ subcribers to this day)

    Hi,

Upon deactivating/reactivating the plugin, you won’t loose your subscribers list.

    Hi,

deactivating/reactivating didn’t seem to do anything, still got that damn pop up :/

Here’s a screencap (sorry for all the french, your module is on the right, titled ‘recevoir les mises à jour’)

    Hi,

Can you please have a check with only Email Subscribers (v3.1) plugin active (rest all plugins de-activated) and then have a check with the functionality and let us know if then it is working or not.

WP-SpamShield check “Disable anti-spam for miscellaneous forms.” worked for me.
