• When I go to wp-admin/install.php at my domain, I get an absolutely blank page. For awhile there, I was getting an error because it couldn’t find my host, but after double-checking my information I am now getting a blank page with no coding whatsoever. I have to assume it’s finding the MySQL database and whatnot (because I am no longer getting the error) but it still won’t install wordpress and simply gives me a blank pages. Any suggestions as to why? Thanks!

    Did you pre-fill wp-config.php?

    Hello,

Make sure you have php safe mode set to ‘off’ and that you have your php memory set to an adequate amount, 16MB should be good enough for your account. These settings can be found within your php.ini file which you may not have access if you’re using a hosting company to host your blog. If this is the case, I would suggest contacting your hosting company to ensure that these settings are in place.

If you are still having difficulties, I would then suggest looking into your error logs as valuable information regarding the error can be found there. Feel free to reply to this email with the errors if you are still having difficulties.

I am getting this same problem.
My PHP is set to safe mode OFF.
PHP memory is set to 200MB.
After upload I loaded the read me, clicked through to the install, ran through that, had setup the database and use for MySQL, finished the process, setup ran, then all I got was a blank page. Loading by blog gave a blank page.
I’ve been through the whole thing again after deleting it all and get the same result.
    Ideas?
