• This consistently happens. The wordpress.com stats plugin reports that the tenth post from the top gets at least 50 hits a day even though my whole blog only averages 200 hits a day, and there is no referrer for that post. I think this has been going on for at least a year, with no change as I upgraded wp versions. If I add a post in the middle of the day the hits are reported going to the next post up, splitting the faux bounty between them.

Has anyone else noticed this going on with their blog stats?

Even though no one else seems to have had this problem, or noticed this post, it has now gone away for me with the installation of 2.8.
