I’ve exported a Mailpoet subscribers list from one site and trying to import it to another site.

I receive this message (loosely translated from Swedish):

“The data yor´re trying to import doesn’t seem to be in CSV-format”

Why doesn’t Mailpoet output a CSV file that can be imported into Mailpoet? Seems strange.

Hmm that’s strange! It definitely should work.

Also, are you using the latest version of MailPoet (2.7)?

I’m using version 2.7 but I have had theese problems with earlier versions as well.

I’ll reply and then you can attach the csv for me to inspect. Does that sound OK?

Thanks for you offer to inspect the CSV.

I did inspect it myself and found the issue. And it’s not really a Mailpoet error. Just a minor “conflict”.

My wordpress date settings is [j F, Y]

So when exporting Subscription date there will be one too many comma in comparison to the header.

Maybe you can add an option to use a semicolon as separator?

Unfortunately, we’ve discussed this before and we won’t add this option.
