    jason_hayes,
To achieve what you want, the easiest thing to do is to create a new admin user and delete the current user which has ID 1.

You can’t delete User ID with one if he/she’s an admin.

@jason_hayes what @wpsolutions meant is as follow. If you have an admin user and create another admin user, you can then delete the first admin user you created which has the ID 1 assigned to it. That way the new admin user will have a different ID number and it will not be 1.

I don’t know if it is new in 4.4.1 or a theme issue but the DELETE link is there for User Id 2 (the newly created admin) but not for User Id 1. It only allows me to edit.

Make sure that you are logged in as the new admin user then it will allow you to delete the old admin user.

Aha. That’s what I was doing wrong.
