I am not experiencing the problem in Firefox 44.
First, please make sure that Firefox is up to date by visiting https://whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating Firefox.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which of Firefox you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Hello James and thanks for your reply!
1. I cleared my browser cache and cookies
2. Don’t have any extensions and add-ons
Just updated to the latest version and the problem still exists. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t… it’s very odd. I also noticed the problem never happens when I’m in incognito mode and when I turn adblocker on, so I think it has something to do with the ads on the website, but I don’t know how to remove them. It’s adsense and I removed the script everywhere I found it in the php files of the theme, but they still show up.

Are you using a plugin to manage the ads?

No, I don’t. I found some scripts in the php files and removed them, but still no luck…

Is there any improvement when you use the Twenty Sixteen theme instead?

Hey! I just switched to Twenty Fifteen (don’t have sixteen) and I didn’t have that problem for that theme. Then I switched back to my theme and the issue is gone now?! Is this possible?! Do you get redirected if you try to click on some pages?

I wasn’t getting redirected before, and I’m still not now. π
If it’s working for you, it must have been fixed somehow.
Oddly enough, I’m having the exact same behaviour on a client’s site, but only for POSTS (and archives).

I’ve cleared all CDN, server, and Firefox browser caches. I’ve tried with all plugins disabled. I’ve tried on different computers in different networks, same behaviour: Firefox fully loads the page, and about 5 seconds later, it automatically redirects to the PREVIOUS page.
It’s peak traffic time now, and client won’t let me switch themes to test.
By the way, I’m running latest version of Firefox (43)

The latest version of Firefox is 44. Would you please upgrade and check again?
i am also facing this redirect problem.
its a customized theme which is runnig very well without any problem but suddenly last 16*-17 hours ago i am facing this problem. After facing the problem i am clearing all caches then update wordpress and other plugins but still the redirect problem.
I need a solution.
Here is my web site : http://www.newsworldbd.com/bn/
when u go to any link it will redirect to previous one within few seconds.
@james Huff,
I’ve upgraded to Firefox 44, but the problem persists.
I’ve also observed something interesting: the redirect goes to whatever previous page was there before loading my WordPress site.
So if I open Google.com, then in the same tab I open my website, my website will fully load, and then after 5 seconds or so, redirect to the previous page (Google.com in this page).
I also want to add that its only POSTs (and post archives) that exhibit this behaviour: PAGES, search results, 404, etc pages don’t show this behaviour.

As I said above, I think it has something to do with the ads on your website. Try to remove them.
i found the problem that is addthis (sharing tools). I removed the code of addthis and then the site is okey.

Could you be more specific, please?

If you can confirm that it’s definitely related to the ads on your site, I think you should contact Google about this: https://support.google.com/adsense/
More than likely, one ad might have some rogue Javascript, and I’m not seeing it because that ad isn’t targeted to me.
