    Hello, my website is http://www.chanakyaschakkravyuh.com (currently it is under newsite, which is a subdomain for construction of website). I have 2 questions:

    1) I want to have a section where I can display pictures of various events. I would like to first have a thumbnail for each event, and then when user clicks on the thumbnail, I want a pop up to show the various images of that event, kind of like an image slideshow/gallery. How do I achieve this?

    2) I want to have on every page (not post, but page) a sticky widget which is to be located on the right, which has a free ebook download link, so my users can download at any time during their visit to my website. How do I achieve this?

    Hello!

    I think I can answer both of your questions:

    1) You’ll need a plugin to display your image slideshow. I really enjoy Jetpack’s Carousel feature. Here’s how you use it. If that doesn’t work for you, there are many other plugins to experiment with.

    2) I’ll again turn to Jetpack. They have a Widget Visibility feature so that you can create a widget, and set it to show only on pages. For your e-book widget, you’d likely want to use a Text Widget.
