    i have updated wordpress manually but then i had this error when trying to open the website

  • Looks like your manual upload wasn’t complete. Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

    Now i have updated WordPress and i can access to the admin panel but i still see the website’s homepage white.
    Other suggestion?

    And the other two steps suggested above?

    Yes i followed all your step…The difference is now that i can access to the admin panel but i still don’t see the website but i have no error only white page

    ok I have solved by installing my old backup and then installing wordpress 4.1.1 by the administration panel. It seems everything is ok
