Need advice on which plugins to use for workshops website

Hi all,

I am in the process of setting up a website for someone who is selling workshops and would like some advice from you all who have much more experience then i do. The website is going to sell cooking workshops that are recurring and has to support the following:

– sell tickets/admission to workshops (events)
– show these events on a calendar (clickable events so they can be bought)
– sell vouchers that can redeem 1 of these events
– set multiple dates for an event
– support testimonials
– automatic mailing to participants after event has taken place
– not use third party websites for ticketing

any idea what combination of plugins would be best for such a setup? i am inclined to use woocommerce for this because i have had experience with woocommerce, but am open to other suggestions.

Any suggestions/advice is very welcome.
