• Hi there,

I think there’s a problem with the latest update, because I published a new post today but there’s nothing about it in the ping log at all.

The ping log shows me the post was edited (NOT pinging) — the time indicated must be the last edit time (saved as draft), because it’s 6 minutes before the post publish time. Then the ping log shows me other posts I edited after I published my article. There’s nothing at all for the time the article was published.

I’m reverting to the previous version until this problem is fixed.

In the meantime, I’d also like to request the ability to download the ping log. And it would also be great to be able to selectively delete items in the log, rather than having to clear the whole log, but that’s not an absolute must…

    Thanks!

Actually, I just compared the two versions and nothing seems to have changed at all. The only other thing I can think of is that it would be something in my settings, but this has never happened to me before and I can’t fathom what it could be.

    My Ping Optimizer settings are:
    Enable Pinging: Checked
Limit excessive pinging: Checked –> Ping at most 1 time within 15 minutes.

There are 18 records in my log, all from today, and all of them show NOT pinging. So it wouldn’t make sense that the plugin limit of 15 minutes was applied, since nothing had pinged for at least three hours before the article was published (probably longer, but that’s when I had gone in to clear my log).

I hope you can help me get to the bottom of this. Thanks!
