Hello people, I’m using the Yoast plugin on my blog, it works well, but I need help about something I’m seeing in google results. I’d like to uderstand what it is that I’m doing wrong. I’ll explane:

When I search for a certain blog, similar to mine, my blog also appears in the results (page 1), and that’s good. It shows the meta-description I have set for homepage with the variable %sitedesc%%.

But before my blog, google shows a third blog, and here is what I don’t understand. This third blog does not shows his usual homepage meta-description, but the first words of its last article containing the search keywords. So google sees it as most relevant.

So: is there a way to set the variables in the meta-description to get that result?
