2.7 admin screen not spaced right

I recently upgraded my site to 2.7. I had heard of all the cool advances and wanted to wait for everything to settle.

When I log in to my wordpress the first thing I see is the Dashboard title and the categories under it. Where I expect the dashboard to show quick press etc. is actually way down below the last category “settings”. It is frustrating to have to scroll down so far to get to the rest of the page.

I am assuming something is wrong with visual settings but this displays the same way on 2 different computers. I have them set at highest 32 bit and 1024 X 768.

Please help
