Hi,
I just tested the plugin with the Nirvana theme but here I encounter no problems. Possibly it’s another plugin that’s causing problems. Do you use other plugins that are active in the post editor ( I suppose this is the problem )? You can try by deactivating them and trying if that solves the issue.
Could also you go to maxbuttons -> support and copy-paste the active plugins listed there and post them here, then we can take a look. Thanks.
Update – We’ve encountered a bug in the latest release that causes this problem and we are fixing it now. Expect a solution in about half of hour.
In case you log out and you need to login again <url>/wp-admin might not work. If that happens then try to login via <url>/wp-login.php .
Update 2 – Please try updating to version 4.11.1 and see if that helps. Please let me know.
Since I cant enter/login I need to it via FTP.
Will the current buttons be deleted if I delete the plugin directory and replace it with the new version. Sry for my noobish question.

My problems plays off of the original posting. Currently using WordPress 4.4.1 and I can’t “Save” any modifications made within MaxButtons (4.11.1). I can Copy, Move to Trash, and Delete the buttons but I can’t Save any changes. I am using the Tesseract 2.2 theme. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

What happens when you press save? I take it it’s save in the button editor, not the post editor ?
I posted under the newest relevant thread that is experiencing the same issue on the same WP theme. When I press “Save” nothing happens, neither the settings in MaxButtons or my Post Page get updated. Its basically clicking a button with no response to it.
I have been trying to update a link for one of the buttons and I can’t seem to get it to Save. Thanks for your help.
