I have purchased and installed the Giving Level Manager for Seamless Donations and it’s working great.

However, I have a client that wishes to use a non-integer donation amount ($10.40 instead of $10, it’s a tax reform web site). Is there a way to use a non-integer donation amount?

    Thanks

Maybe. I can’t recall if I did a convert to integer on the donation (I don’t think so, but I’m away on a family emergency and not near my code). You could try setting it in either the UI or possibly the…

No, wait, I don’t think so. When I adopted the plugin, Seamless Donations used a unique meta value (something like level_100, level_200) to indicate the donation amount. I extended that, but the format (the name followed by the underscore followed by the donation value) wasn’t something I changed.

I think it will work in “Other,” but the set giving amounts are integers only. I’ll add that as a feature idea, but it’s unlikely to happen soon because it would require a relatively fundamental data structure change, which is always a bit risky, especially since it would potentially impact every SD install.

P.S. Marking as resolved because it’s on the list.
