  • First, contact your host (Bluehost?) and inform them of your issue. They should be able to reset everything for you.

Since you don’t know how to change password from database directly, you have only one option to contact your host to reset the password for you.

Try logging in with a different browser. If that works clear your cookies/cache and try again with your preferred browser.

Otherwise you can change your password via phpMyAdmin rather easily:

Thank you all for the advice.

Bluehost were in fact able to sort it out for me. I didn’t realise they could do that for WordPress and I was told the other day on a previous support chat that they only did the most basic coding. But now I know to go to them as a first port of call in future.

    Thanks again 🙂
