Email when I get comments…

    I want to have the “Email me whenever someone posts a comment” option on, and I had that ticked and it still is ticked, I’ve checked, but one day it just stopped working. Before, it emailed me every single time I got any comment, but now it won’t send me anything, and I’ve checked the other options and details in my admin, but it’s all correct.. does anyone know what’s happened?

    Do you have the SpamKarma plugin installed?

    I no longer get emails about my comments, except for digests of spam–good comments are unremarked on. There may be a way to configure this, but I haven’t found it yet.

    It could be your webhosts settings of the mail() function in their php… my own host sucks, they got screwd settings so almost no php scripts run as they should if the utilize the built in mail-function. In other cases it could be your hosts spamfilters that prevent wordpress from sending, depending on they had them setup.

    i don’t think its that.. because i hadn’t changed anything, and one day it just stopped sending me emails..
    my host has also told me before that she doesn’t use much php and she doesn’t know it.. so i don’t think it’d be something she changed.
    i dont have any other plugins for spam or anything activated, the only plugin i have activated is the alex king, clickable smilies one.. would that have anything to do with it? any other ideas?

    hmm.. never mind. thanks for the help anyway! my wordpress was jsut acting weird, suddenly it’d stop sending me emails, and then it started sending them to me again today o___O oh well.
