I’m just getting started with Seamless Donations. I have set the following form options to “Show” but after I click “Update all options” they revert back to “Don’t Show”:

    “Designated Funds Checkbox and Section”
    “Repeating Donation Checkbox”
    “Donor Address Section”

I am using Seamless Donations Version 4.0.13 with WordPress 4.4.1.

Any assistance you can provide to help me figure out how to get these options to “Show” would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Does the button actually say “Update all options”? The button that saves that data is named “Save Fields”. If you’re seeing “Update all options” then you might be experiencing a version of the save field issue discussed in the Troubleshooting Guide:

Hi David – Thanks for your prompt reply! I looked in the wp_options table and see the record “Submit” with value “Update All Options”. I’m a little nervous to delete this record if it’s being used by another template or plugin. We don’t have the Headway template that is mentioned in the support issue you mentioned but some other component must be using this record. Is there any chance that you could update the code in the Seamless Donations plugin to create a record with a more specific name, such as “Seamless Submit” that wouldn’t conflict with other software? Of course, I have no idea if it’s evern remotely possible and even if this was possible it’s likely that you would need to create some code to allow this update to be backward compatible with current Seamless Donations installations. Or – maybe you can point me to the code in the Seamless Donations plugin where the “Submit” record is created and I can change the name of this record wherever it’s referenced? I’ve installed the Seamless plugin on two different sites with totally different themes and I see the same result. We would love to use your plugin. If you have an suggestions regarding what we can do to remedy this issue I’d so appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help!

That’s not my record. It’s actually quite baffling what causes that. My submit names are all relatively unique (like “Save Fields”).

It is possible that the UI framework I am using might use that somewhere, and I’ll submit a request to them, but it’s pretty much out of my hands.

P.S. Marking as resolved because while it’s not resolved, it’s not really something I can fix.
