Either use the placeholder #_ATTENDEES inside a single event format template (and configure what is shown using that placeholder in the EME settings), or use [eme_attendees] inside a single event (see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?cat=54 for an example).
But for payment status, you don’t want the list of attendees, but the list of bookings, so better is to use [eme_bookings]:

Inside your eme_bookings template, use the placeholder #_PAYED to show the payed status
Thanks for the quick response, Franky.
But what I need is a single list that shows the attendees names, email addresses, phone numbers and payment status. This can either be displayed as a web page or as a list accessible from the back end. Just some way to see who is attending and their payment status.
Can this be done?
Thanks, again.

Well, that is what my answer is providing you in the front end.
In the backend you have a link to a printable booking report or a csv export when viewing the list of events ( of course only for the events that have bookings).
Thanks – the event “Printable view” and “CSV export” are exactly what I was looking for.
