• Hello,

I want to assign a specific custom taxonomy to all posts, in a specific post type.

In simple terms, I’ve four custom post types and four custom taxonomies with same name i.e.

    1.English
    2.Russian
    3.French
    4.Japanese

Now I want all the posts under “English” post type to assign under “English” custom taxonomy, “Russian” post type to “Russian” taxonomy and so on.

I’ve nearly 2800 posts in all post types, and manually assigning taxonomies to each post, would be highly in-efficient. I am looking for some plugin or some other solution that could let me do the same, within few clicks.

    Thanks 🙂

Update: Oh! I had figured it out. There’s a simple way to do this right within your WordPress dashboard, just use the bulk edit function inside the specific post type and assign the taxonomy you want 🙂

  • Yup, Bulk Edit!

Note the top left of the wp-admin screen: Screen Options > Number of items per page:
You can change it from the default 20 to 100 or 500 or something really large like that for the short term so you can bulk edit many more per page load.

    I hope that helps too.
