Customised homepage problems with multisite

Hi, Using Responsive theme. I have childtheme and using multisite. Now trying to customize new sites (the ones i added when switched to multisite) and I try to change text for customised homepage. Every time I try to change text there, it redirects to theme settings and claims that “The Custom Front Page is disabled. You can enable it in the theme settings.”.But it is enabled already.
