Facebook images don't work in Yoast

    I have a featured image set up on my front page. Of course it doesn’t show up on the front because I’m using a slider. I also have set up a default image in the Facebook tab under “social” on Yoast’s dashboard panels.

    Still I’m getting a blank image on a Facebook share. Is there something I’m missing?

    I find that some of my interior pages and posts will pull up an image in the Facebook preview, but the front page will not.

    I found through another set of searches that I needed to use the Facebook debugger. It showed I had no og:image tag. I had to install another plug-in to get that.

    I found the opengraph settings on Yoast to not work. My preview had no og:description. Yoast wouldn’t supply that for some reason. Had to use the other plug-in to get my settings to scrape.

    I’ve noticed the same thing…Yoast inserts the correct Open graph images on some of my sites but not all. On one site the correct menus don’t even show up.
