I currently have a wordpress site but would like to know if I could create a new look site via Wix and connect to my wordpress domain and still manage it from WordPress?

This is basically telling you to have two separate sites though, your main Wix site and a WordPress site (blog) on a subdomain. This probably wouldn’t achieve what you’re after as your blog wouldn’t have the new look. If you want to manage your site using WordPress, create your new look using WordPress.

Ok thanks!

The problem is I don’t find WordPress to be very user friendly and do the things that I want to do.
