AskApache password protection ALTERNATIVE?

    My host said tey won’t support:

    mod_auth_digest
    digest authentication

    They only support these:

    .htaccess file support
    mod_rewrite supported
    mod_security supported
    basic authentication supported

    So is there any alternate solution to AAPP?

    Guys,

    Any advice?

    What are you using to protect wp-includes folder?

    I password protected wp-admin, and applied some security to wp-config.php. wp-content is moved to different folder.

    But how to proptect ‘wp-includes’?

    Any other alternatives to AAPP plugin?
