• Having the same issue described here…wondering what the solution is?

    • WordPress version: 4.4
    • Soliloquy version: 2.4.0.7 (Lite version)
    • Error: When an existing slider is edited, changes are not reflected on front end. E.g. if we add two new photos to the slider, they do not show up on the actual page the slider is on.

No JS errors, have cleared and disabled cacheing plugins.

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    1. Please give it a try on a new test WP installation, may be something went wrong in your current site.

    2. If the issue exists, please provide us with your website link.

    Thanks.

Yes, the slider works without issue on all other WordPress sites I work with, even using the same theme and plugins. The only difference between sites is the web host. This site uses GoDaddy and I am wondering if it is somehow incompatible.

Then its definitely something wrong with GoDaddy server.

    1. Check with host to see if there are any cache tool running on the server. OR there are any memory or other limitation on server.

    2. Turn the debug mode in WordPress to true and see if there are any errors on the page.

    3. See PHP error log for the site.

    4. If you have many images in the slider this issue may occur when max_post_vars is exceeded; this setting is controlled by your server. In some instances it may be possible to increase the max_post_vars, see http://diywpblog.com/how-to-increase-max-input-vars/

    5. If nothing works out then something broken in current WP installation, you would need to use fresh installation of WP and move everything over in that, either on same server or new host (whichever works).

    Thank you
