• Hi,

I’ve tried Googling for this, but I invariably get results that tell you how to remove ‘HOME’ from page titles.

    I’m looking for something different.

I’m using a default setup whereby the website title and tagline are shown as plain text.

For Google SERPS reasons, I wanted the format of ‘Service-Description | Something-Else | Something-Else-Again’ to appear on my search results.

I’ve set the SERPS description up in Yoast on the homepage, but it’s only affecting the Open Graph titles – not the Google SERPS results.

I can obviously set up the desired SERPS title as the homepage title, but I wanted to avoid doing that if possible.

Or of course I could place a logo at the top instead of the title text, but I wanted to avoid that too, if possible.

Does anyone know a way whereby I could set the desired Google SERPS result as my website title, yet still have a ‘normal’ looking website title in view?
