• Not sure if my WP isn’t working right or if it’s just the way it is. When I am logged in as a regular user and go make a comment on a post it asks me for my name, email addy and website.

Now if a user is logged in, why isn’t just posting with all that info filled in from their profile and signup info?

is there a plugin i need to do this?

  • I don’t know what version you’re using or what theme or whatever, but using the default theme in 1.5 one of the features is that you do not need to enter in that information if you’re logged in. If this is your own theme, you can easily add support for it by basing it off the default.

ha! the things I didn’t notice cause I based my new template off of “Devenir En Gris 1.5” sheesh someone should tell him he’s missing the new comment feature.

I was hoping the same thing was causing my “recent posts” debacle, but I don’t even see “recent posts” in word press’s default theme. oh well.
