• I am in the process of upgrading my blog but have come to a few problems. I have dowloaded and uploaded the new program onto my computer and on to my host www root however I cannot get the wordpress upgrade to complete. In my wordpress root I have a error log which contains a lot of information that includes the following: (there is a lot more)
[03-May-2009 11:01:58] PHP Warning: require(/home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/compat.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 202 [03-May-2009 11:01:58] PHP Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/compat.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 202 [03-May-2009 11:02:04] PHP Warning: require(/home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/compat.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 202 [03-May-2009 11:02:04] PHP Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/compat.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 202 [03-May-2009 11:10:30] PHP Warning: require(/home/daysaren/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/compat.php)

When I type my domain name into a search engine I get the following:
    Index of /
    _vti_bin/
    aneet/
    cgi-bin/
    daysarenumbers/
    images/
    wordpress/
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    Aneet

  • /wp-includes/compat.php
wordpress is looking for this file and can not find it
try uploading the files again as this may be indicative that several didn’t get uploaded
