    Hello Never Settle,

I apologize that this may not be the best place to ask this question.

I work with a WordPress development team but I am not a coder myself. We have a task of creating a WordPress Multisite for a client of ours. We have created a staging environment on their hosting to test but when ever we try to export the plugins from the existing website and import them to the staging site, the import fails. The most problematic plugin to move is the types plugin.

Would NS cloner help us over come this? Any guidance would be really appreciated.

    Thank You.

Hello! It doesn’t sound like the NS Cloner will help with this situation. It is designed to clone sites within the same WP Multisite network.

We can’t really offer general WP + hosting support, but as a rhetorical question that might get you pointed in the right direction: how are you trying to “export” the plugins to the staging site? It should be very simple / painless 2 step process:
    1) copy all the files of the installation
    2) run a raw DB export of the whole database and import that on the staging server

Is #2 the part that is failing? Is it too big? Those are the kinds of things we’d think through in your case.

    All the best!
