    Hi ebayabuse,

I have to ask, why would you post a negative review without even submitting a support request first?

Also, I have no idea what you have said, as I don’t speak that language. Please post any questions you have in English, otherwise we have no way to help you.

Please ask yourself this…When developers spend so much time developing free plugins for the WordPress community, is it really ok to post a 1 star review without making any reasonable effort to receive support? That’s simply not the right way to handle things.

If you have an issue with something, submit a support request first, and give the author time to respond. We provide free support for our plugins…all you have to do is submit a support request at the WordPress Plugin Support Page. We provide some of the best support out there.

You might want to take a moment to check out these two posts:

I would ask that you reconsider your rating.

Salve Scott, I answer in collaboration with Google Translate, sorry.

It is right that I present me: founder and admin of a italian website that from September 2007 warning in real-time on online fraud. I also spend much time for free for people, I have not sponsor, no funding, I pay out of my pocket all cost, the service offering my site is completely free. As you do with your plugin.

My feedback is negative because the plugin forced me to give its to get rid of exceptionally invasive feedback-request that appears in every part of my site dashboard. It is deliberately enormous, deliberately designed to create discomfort on writing, setting, managed the site.

If this is the plugin, that’s my site and the creators have not the right to hinder my work, even if they give me something for free. Their it’s great plugin but even my liberty is great. I can immediately uninstall your plugin, just ask

Well, I have to disagree with you…unfortunately you are going about this the wrong way. When a user has an issue with a plugin, the right way to proceed is to submit a support request and get in contact with the plugin author first to see if your issue can be resolved. In this case it definitely could have…it is simple a matter of explaining how the reminder message works (WordPress admin notices API).

Those messages are using the standard API for WordPress administrative notices, and that is coded the correct way. If you have a problem with how the message appears, then that is a complaint about WordPress itself, not the plugin. I think you are misunderstanding how the WordPress admin area works. These notices will stay in place until you click to make them go away, but that’s all it takes, is a click.

I’m very sorry that you felt that the reminder message was frustrating and invasive, but I don’t understand why you would feel that this is a problem, and that the plugin deserves one star, especially without even making an effort to get in touch with us to let us know about your frustration. Again, all it takes is one click to make it go away. It was never intended to frustrate anyone, but rather just be a reminder. This is the standard way of doing it in WordPress, according to developer guidelines, and many other plugins do the exact same thing.

If you don’t want to rate the plugin you’re not obligated to in any way.

In general people tend not to rate plugins very often, so the message is just a small reminder to ask users to do that after they’ve used it for a bit. You can make it go away with one click. Is that too much to ask when WordPress plugin developers put thousands of hours into developing software for the community to use for free?

Again, my sincerest apologies for any frustration this caused. Would you consider revising your rating to be based solely on how well you feel the plugin works?

The plugin works very well, this is not the problem and I did not want to offend your work. This story made me very angry and maybe I’m being unfair. How do I revise my rating? This ist my first visit on wordpress.org
