I meant I like the warning of plugins that are not in latest version. But for plugins that aren’t activated, can I turn the warning off? Thanks

Considering that 95% of attacks we see are originally caused because of plugins and themes that aren’t updated even if they are deactivated, separating those alerts out is not something we plan on doing. If the plugin is on your site, activate or not, it is still accessible from the web and available for attack. If you don’t need it, get rid of it,. If you may need it again, save it locally or reinstall it when you need it from the wordpress.org repository. If you have outdated plugins or themes on your site, it isn’t a question of if your site will be exploited. It is a question of when it will happen.

    Thanks

    tim
