Feature Suggestions: Pending Posts, Email Reminder

It turned out to be very easy to fork this plugin to add a Pending Posts item to the admin bar and widget to the Dashboard. Getting it to show “number of days pending” looks straightforward, though I haven’t done it yet.

I could publish the fork as such to the WP Repo – as an independent plug-in, in other words – but I’d think you could as easily add the option to show it as well.

Another feature, requested by Editors, that I am thinking of adding for them is a daily reminder email of what’s currently pending and/or scheduled. Again, it seems like a very straightforward operation, not really dependent on your code, but something that it seems to me would be a natural addition to it.
