Not working with Woocommerce 2.4.12

This was working fine for me with Woocommerce 2.4.11 (I think, could have been 2.4.8) but has stopped working with version 4.2.12
No errors, just not sending a verification email. Instead, I get the default welcome email from Woocommerce.
Any clues as to what’s changed?
