Same problem here. After updating WordPress, plugin is not embedding youtube video.
Can anyone help me!
I have it working but without any video controls showing so when I have a video set to autoplay, users can’t stop it.
For me, plugin is working now with updated WordPress. Earlier plugin was conflicting with other plugin.

It seems to work, but it does not generate thumbnail images anymore. Anyone could fix this please?
This plugin is not working with Youtube videos for me since updating WordPress. Everything else works eg Vimeo and Soundcloud, just not Youtube. I click auto set in the featured image box and nothing happens apart freom the youtube video reloading in the FVP url box??
I don’t know if its the wordpress update, or if Youtube have changed something on their end. But I have deactivated all my plugins, and recativated this one and it is still doing the same problem with youtube videos?!!
It works fine with old entries but does not generate thumbnail images anymore and does not play the video. Works even worst if you set “Replace featured image on click”.
No conflicts with other plugins as I have tried to deactivate all of them.

Neither of those or a combination of the two seemed to work for me :/
I installed FVP yesterday and configured all the standard settings. I introduced my Youtube URL in the box. When I click on the thumbnail video above the url it works. But when i leave my dashboard to see the front page of my site, the video is not generated, not even the image of the video. It just mentions “Featured Video Play Icon” and the title of my post.
Has anyone got the answer? If not, i am gonna switch to another plugin.
