Google calender missing events

I’m using V2.3.4 (though the same thing happened with V2.3.3) and having a problem with getting all events from a Google calendar.
The ICS is at https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/firstumctipton%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics (I’ve also tried the private version of the ICS link with the same results).

Recently events stopped updating correctly, and occasionally an event would appear on the wrong day (mostly things in the evening on one day would appear on the next day). I first updated to the latest version which didn’t change anything. Next I removed the calendar feed, and deleted all of the events. Upon setting up a new calendar feed (same ICS link) the import happened, but only events starting on January 20th, 2016 were imported. there are many events in December that simply don’t appear in the Events list or on the calendar page. It also appears to only import one event per day.
I’ve manually refreshed the feed with the same results. For some reason I cannot get events before January 20th to import. I’ve imported the calendar in Outlook, and the events all appear correctly there, so I don’t think the calendar itself is corrupt.
This calendar feed was working correctly until recently.
