I will look into this. Could you give me the name of the file and line number mentioned in the error?

    Hi thanks for your answer.

I’m sorry i’ve just realised i didn’t give you the full text message. The file is content.php in the core folder. The line is 781.
    Thank you

The plugin is still not working. I had to downgrad to WordPress 4.3.1 cause i use Custom Content Shortcode a lot in my pages. Have you found anything ?

Hi, I have a similar problem when i try to use links to my posts. I get this message

Notice: post_permalink is deprecated since version 4.4! Use get_permalink() instead. in /…/wp/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3568

Please let me know if you find a solution! Thanks!

The issue remains even after upgrading to WordPress 4.4.1 today. And noticed it only doesn’t work with taxonomies i created with Custom Post UI. I really don’t know what to do and still no answer from the owner….

@ravavamouna – Please try the latest plugin update, v3.2.9. I found that get_term_link throws an error when the term doesn’t exist. Now it will silently pass: instead of an error, it will output empty.

It means that somewhere in your shortcodes, you’re trying to get the link of a non-existent term. I’m not sure how it can happen, but you may want to check for it.

Thanks for replying Eliot. I just tried both uprgrades (Custom Content Shortcode and WP 4.4.1) but unfortunately, nothing has changed. The taxonomies just keep on disappearing so i’m kinda stuck with WP 4.3.1 for now. At least, there is no error message anymore since the lastest version of Custom Content Shortcode.

So i tried a new plugin to see if the same thing happened and the answer is…yes. So now we’re sure Custom Content Shortcode is not the issue. There is something in my settings that WordPress 4.4 doesn’t like but i don’t know what so i guess that’s a personnal issue. I’m sorry for dragging you into the mess my website is.

That’s interesting that the issue is only affecting taxonomies, and that it seems to be caused by WP core update. There was some change in WP 4.4. about taxonomy meta, possibly related.. Well, please feel free to post back if you find out more.
