Quotes rotator in blog description? | WordPress.org

I am trying to find a plugin that puts a daily or weekly quote (selected randomly from a user-defined collection) into the blog description field. Does anyone know whether such a plugin exists? At the moment I “rotate” quotes manually which is not too bad (once a week is acceptable) but I am hoping to find an automated solution.

There was a project where I had to work with quotes. I used this plugin for my requirement. So this may be handy for you as well:

Thanks for the Perfect Quotes link. I found this plugin before but it lacks the ability of placing the quote in the blog description field which is something I am specifically looking for.

Anyone else?

This one is giving me errors during installation. Could be that it is incompatible with WordPress 4.4 or something like that… Will keep searching.
