• I have just installed this plugin and am performing some tests.

It seems that when an administrator logs in he is directed straight to the Dashboard. When a non-admin user logs in he is directed to his profile page.

    1. Where is this controlled?
    2. Can I configure things such that a subscriber is directed straight to the site’s home page?
    3. Is it possible that other roles (e.g. an author) can be given the choice of going to the home page or the dashboard?

Forgive me if this is all documented and I have missed/didn’t appreciate what was being offered. If this is the case perhaps you could point me in the right direction. 🙂

    1. this is controlled on the user role page for login redirect.

    2. Yes you can, if you change the redirect option for login from user role page.

    3. Yes you can set redirect URL on a per user role basis.

    Thanks!

Many thanks for responding to my query. Had I bothered to delve a little deeper into the documentation this would all have been clear. RTFM, 😃
