@gfserver – We would not re-size to a larger version of the original as we cannot guarantee this would not create a poor quality image to work with.
We strongly recommend that all image manipulation be done prior to uploading when working with NextGEN Gallery specifically.
Thanks!

Hello, thanks very much for your answer!
We don’t care about poor quality image in this case.
The matter is that the images are uploaded with the public uploader ngg extension and people don’t prepare their images before uploading and this extension doesn’t have any restrictions or validations about image sizes.
Thanks again for your time

Note. We are making a gallery of images about people who send their photos as volunteers for a good social cause in our country and we want to add a fixed size watermark banner 800 px wide at the top of the image as a recognition.. that’s it, thanks if anybody can help us

@gfserver – Unfortunately there really is nothing built into NextGEN Gallery to over-size original uploads. Perhaps you can build an extension to the public uploader?

Hello Cais, the Organization decided not to do it finally, thank you for your collaboration. It would be great that the image watermark were responsive in the future.
Best regards
@gfserver – Thanks for the update!
